BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Association) Level 2 Instructor
200 Hour Yoga Teacher
I discovered yoga in my teens and have practised ever since. I am so grateful that I can share my love of yoga with others and help them on their yoga journey. I am a qualified 200 hour yoga teacher trained in Hatha yoga.
As a keen surfer and windsurfer I love being on the water and spent many years teaching windsurfing all over the world. When I first tried paddle boarding it was just a windsurf board and a canoe paddle, I love that it has grown into a huge sport and as a qualified Instructor I am able to give you structured tuition to enable you to quickly progress in the sport.
SUP is a wonderful sport for many reasons and it is fantastic that it is so accessible to so many people. As a SUP instructor I have introduced lots of people to the sport and helped them find confidence and a joy for SUPing.
The combination of yoga and SUP is pure genius and creates a unity which gives you peace, freedom, and a fantastic workout. The instability of the board on the water takes your yoga practise to a new level and allows you to challenge yourself in new ways. I want everyone who joins me on the water to really enjoy the experience there is no pressure to do any poses that you are not comfortable with.
SUP Yoga is suitable for everyone who loves being on the water, you don’t need any paddle boarding or yoga experience. We begin in stable poses and modifications are explained for all levels, you decide how much of a challenge you want. Being out on the water surrounded by nature creates a truly wonderful yoga experience. I encourage everyone to take each session at your own pace working to your comfortable maximum and always leave the water smiling,
